Farmville

Farmville is a game that can be played on Facebook. You can send gifts to friends, plant and harvest crops, and take care of animals. Throughout the game, you earn experience from planting crops and decorating your farm. When you meet specific requirements, such as having 250 decorations, you get a ribbon. This ribbon usually rewards you with a gift, money, and experience. They start out as yellow and then go from there to white, red, and then blue. With each ribbon you get better rewards however the requirements get harder.
Although this sounds boring, it's actually quite fun. If you went up to a random kid that goes to your school and ask them about Farmville, they'll say something along the lines of "Hey! I play that game!". This could be a new friend. (And a neighbor for your farm to get towards that popularity blue ribbon!)
The game runs on real time. Meaning, you plant a crop and come back in anywhere from 4 hours to 3 days to harvest them. Some crops net more profit than others.
In the end, this game can potentially teach some good lessons. Money management is just one of the many possible lessons.
