Trash pickup

Bulk trash day occurs on the first trash day of the month. Except in December when they pick up leaves instead of trash. To notify everyone of this change, the township posts a myriad of fliers all around town. On phone poles and on the little signs that you can find sticking out of the ground.

However, I have noticed the ignorance of some people. People in my neighborhood have brought out everything they could find. An old crib, trash and the like. However, a week later, it's still sitting on their front lawn waiting for someone to pick it up. It's been through snow AND rain so they can't even use the excuse "I'm hoping that a person who needs it will come by and swoop it away."

But the thing is, the mom is a stay at home mom that drives everywhere. Now, that's fine. No hard feelings there. But she drives everywhere. She should have seen at least 10 signs. She also parks on the driveway stealing a glance at her pile of junk sitting on her lawn and on her surrounding neighbors. However, this is just one out of the many families that left their trash out. Some did the right thing and brought it inside however this family in particular failed to even care.
